Job Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store and ensuring the efficient and profitable functioning of the store. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and a deep understanding of the retail industry. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing sales, inventory, and staff, as well as ensuring that the store meets its sales targets and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Qualifications and Skills
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the jewellery/retail industry
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in inventory management and visual merchandising
- Good understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and ability to analyze sales data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in using computer software and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of jewellery sales and industry trends is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the overall functioning of the store, including sales, inventory, staff, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock availability and minimizing shrinkage
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to drive business growth and maintain a competitive edge
