Job Summary:
We are seeking an Internal Audit Junior Officer with a strong background in accounts and Internal Auditing to join our Auditing Department at Unit I. This is an on-site role based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Job Description:
As an Audit Associate in our dynamic Auditing Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation's financial activities' accuracy, integrity, and compliance. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of critical functions, contributing to the company's overall financial health and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payment and Invoice Validation:
Conduct meticulous validation of payments and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify discrepancies and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly.
2. HR Payments Review:
Thoroughly review HR-related payments, including but not limited to salary disbursements, incentive programs, and overtime payments. Ensure correctness in disbursements and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Accounting related:
Review and ensure the accuracy of the transaction entries posted in the ERP System. Identify gaps and discuss them with the finance team for passing necessary adjustable entries.
4. Compliance Assurance:
Ensure strict compliance with tax deduction at source (TDS) regulations, Goods and Services Tax (GST) guidelines, and other relevant financial regulations. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance.
5. Inventory Validation :
Perform monthly inventory verification. Perform thorough validation of inventory records to ensure accuracy and alignment with actual stock levels. Collaborate with relevant teams to address any discrepancies and streamline inventory management processes.
Qualifications:
· B.com, M.com, MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Previous experience in auditing or a similar role is preferred.
· Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Skills and Competencies :
· Internal Audit and F&A
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
· High level of integrity and ethical standards.
· A proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial discrepancies.
