Job Title: CGT(Chief General Technician)
Job Purpose:
The Chief General Technician (CGT) serves as the lead technical expert within the organization, overseeing a team of technicians across various disciplines. Combining leadership skills with deep technical knowledge, the CGT ensures that all technical operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Provide expert guidance on complex technical challenges and decisions.
Lead critical repair, maintenance, and installation operations.
Team Management & Development:
Oversee the technician team, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
Conduct training sessions, mentorship programs, and performance reviews for technical staff.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure that all technical operations align with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Develop and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for technical tasks.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Monitor and ensure the quality of technical work, aiming for minimal errors or rework.
Stay updated with industry regulations, ensuring compliance across all technical operations.
Budgeting & Resource Management:
Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets for technical projects and operations.
Ensure efficient use of resources, tools, and equipment.
Project Management:
Lead or oversee technical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors as required.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to achieve them.
Stay updated with the latest technical advancements and integrate them into operations where beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 8 Yrs Experience in Service department
ITI or diploma Must
Primary Skills:
Technical Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of equipment, tools, and systems relevant to the organization's operations.
Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team.
Problem-Solving: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges.
Quality Focus: Commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality in technical operations.
Decision Making: Ability to make sound decisions, even under pressure.
Secondary Skills:
Effective Communication: Capability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management.
