As a Junior Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our sales and business development efforts. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their sales career and contribute to our company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach under the guidance of Senior BDR.
- Assist in qualifying leads through discovery calls and other means, progressing them from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
- Aid in nurturing leads through follow-up communications, providing additional information, and addressing inquiries to keep prospects engaged throughout the sales cycle.
- Learn to use tools like Apollo and CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive) to manage leads and opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and enhance lead generation strategies accordingly.
- Assist in developing growth strategies to generate more MQLs and SQLs.
- Support content development efforts by contributing ideas and assisting in content creation. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for more MQLs and SQLs..
- Help gather market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Ad-hoc Tasks:
- Assist in various operational tasks and projects as assigned by the CEO.
- Respond to urgent and time-sensitive requests with a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for sales and business development.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Google Suite (analyzing spreadsheets and charts) and online CRM
- Previous internship or coursework in sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus but not required.
