Job description

Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy: Define and communicate the strategic vision for logistics software products, taking into account market dynamics, competitive analysis, and customer feedback. Align product roadmap with business objectives and customer needs. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer pain points within the logistics industry. Use insights to inform product strategy and feature prioritization. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and development teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements. Translate customer needs into clear and actionable user stories and feature specifications. Feature Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize features based on strategic importance, customer value, technical feasibility, and time-to-market considerations. Make data-driven decisions and trade-offs to optimize product development resources. Product Development: Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, providing guidance, feedback, and clarification on product requirements. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features that meet customer expectations. Product Launch: Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to plan and execute product launches effectively. Develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials to drive adoption and revenue growth. Product Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and guide product iterations. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers to understand their evolving needs and challenges. Solicit feedback through interviews, surveys, and user testing to validate product hypotheses and inform roadmap decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives. Industry Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. Share knowledge internally and externally through presentations, webinars, and participation in industry events. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry. Strong understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. Proven track record of successfully bringing software products or solutions to market, from concept to launch. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools. Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar. Certification in product management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
