About The Company

We, RentoMojo, were founded by IITM alums and serial entrepreneurs who worked out of almost every major city in India in his first five years of corporate career. Frustrated with the hassles of relocating from one place to the other, and tired of finding that perfect cluster of home essentials that suited their lifestyle.

RentoMojo caters to the needs of the working professionals which is unmet due to nonavailability of furnished rental flats by offering furniture and appliances on rental basis, thus, providing more flexibility than owning the expensive furniture and appliances.

Currently, we have 130,000+ subscribers with a typical rental period of 1214 months. The current market size (as per a recent report by Grant Thornton) is estimated to be US$ 4.1 Billion and expected to grow to US$ 13 Billion by 2025.

With 1000+ people operations, the company has a presence in 16 cities across India. Looking back, Rentomojo has not only made a new market of lease which never existed for the consumer, they have also become market leaders in the consumer rental industry. Unlike the norm, they are now seeing a reverse trend wherein a version of ours is being copied in the US and UK. We are also profitable at monthly PAT since Oct 2021.

  • We will always have more to bite than we can chew, we will always have to make choices and prioritize while we progress. We can have hundreds of reasons behind why something can not be done, but we have to remain focused on the how of things. The focus on how will help us find ways to get done, what needs to get done.

Think, decide, play and act for the long term.

About The Role

Rentomojo is seeking a talented Content & Copywriter to join our marketing team. As a Content & Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating compelling, engaging, and high-quality content across various platforms to effectively communicate our brand message, drive engagement, and increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities And Ownership

  • Develop creative and engaging content for multiple platforms, including website, social media, blogs, emails, advertisements, product descriptions, and more.
  • Craft clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy that resonates with the target audience and promotes customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content strategies that align with marketing initiatives and business goals.
  • Conduct research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and market insights to create relevant and valuable content.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve online visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content creation and copywriting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Your work till now will be the first qualification that would matter to us. Other than that, you should be:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce, retail, or rental industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to maintain brand voice and tone consistently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing samples across different formats and channels.
