Manufacturing Manager - Molecular Products Location: Pune, India Company Overview: Join our leading client in the Biotech Research and Diagnostic Industry, a pioneering organization dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovative molecular products. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our Molecular Products manufacturing operations in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Molecular Biology or Diagnostic Products Manufacturing. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient production of our molecular products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process for molecular products, including planning, scheduling, and execution of production activities. Lead a team of manufacturing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Implement and maintain robust manufacturing processes and procedures to meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline manufacturing processes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment of manufacturing activities with organizational goals and objectives. Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analyze performance data, and take proactive measures to address any issues or deviations from targets. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to support manufacturing operations and ensure timely procurement of materials and resources. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to molecular products manufacturing, and incorporate best practices into operations. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field. Minimum of 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing molecular products or diagnostic assays, preferably in a regulated environment (e.g., ISO). Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, nucleic acid extraction, and sequencing. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as cGMP, ISO 13485, and WHO PQ, is highly desirable.
