Job description

I. ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE We are looking for a digitally savvy Internal Communication & Content Specialist who will be responsible for end-to-end management (conceptualising, editing, coordination and execution) of Internal Communication and Employer Branding for Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. The role is pivotal in creating content for internal and external communication including traditional and digital media The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the banking and financial services industry, excellent writing skills.

II. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE Research and write engaging and informative content for internal communication channels, such as drafting articles, Letters and speeches for senior leadership team, blogs, responses to media queries, press releases, internal newsletters, social media posts etc. Review and edit documents/content to ensure error-free communication internal and external communication Stay up-to-date on industry trends, news and events to incorporate them into content Collaborate with other teams in the bank to understand their communication needs and develop content strategies Draft responses to media queries and assist senior leadership team with speeches Optimize content for internal audience and ensure consistency with the bank's brand and messaging Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy and consistency Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ensure that communications are timely and high-quality. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication activity. Department’s documentation as per company’s defined policies

III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field A degree in communications, journalism or related fields is desirable but not necessary Graduation in any field is a must

Experience(Years and Core Experience Type) 8 – 10 yrs years of experience in content writing, journalism, public relations or a related field, with a focus on the banking and financial services industry. Excellent writing, content creation and communication skills. Impeccable interpersonal skills, and drive to get things done. Highly detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment. Ability to think out of the box, and constantly reinvent. Extremely process-oriented

Functional Skills Strong understanding of internal communication and corporate communications Ability to adapt writing style to fit various formats and audiences including internal and external Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines This position is full-time and will be based at the bank's office location. Creative; skilled at quick and high-quality execution. Fair understanding of the Social Media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter)
