Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and the ability to develop Python applications using libraries like Streamlit. The candidate should have familiarity with the Google data stack, including BigQuery and Looker, will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Modeling:
- Conduct robust and complex data analysis to drive business insights.
- Develop predictive models to support decision-making across various departments.
Machine Learning Algorithms, Model training and implementation:
- Data pre processing and preparation for ML training.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their evaluation.
- Model training and implementation.
Python Application Development:
- Design and build Python applications using libraries like Streamlit for interactive data visualization and analysis.
- Ensure efficient and scalable application performance.
Working with Big Data:
- Manage and analyze large datasets using Google BigQuery.
- Leverage Big Data technologies to improve data processing and analytics capabilities.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Create dynamic and insightful visualizations using Looker and other data visualization tools.
- Develop automated reporting systems for regular data dissemination.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with different departments to identify opportunities for leveraging company data.
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Research and Development:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science.
- Propose and implement new data analysis methodologies and tools.
Key Competencies & Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like Streamlit.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery and Looker, is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
