Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CSSD Technician to join our team at Shree Giriraj Multispeciality Hospital. As a CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and instruments. This is a full-time position based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience as a CSSD Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with operating CSSD equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification or training in CSSD operations is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Performing sterilization and disinfection procedures on medical instruments and equipment according to established guidelines
- Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CSSD equipment
- Preparing and packaging instruments and supplies for sterilization
- Ensuring proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies
- Monitoring and documenting sterilization cycles and maintaining records
- Participating in infection control activities and maintaining a clean and safe CSSD area
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
