Our founder is Amit Jain. Amit was a Managing Director at Sequoia Capital in Singapore prior to starting Zamp. Prior to Sequoia, Amit was Head of Asia Pacific for Uber. Prior to Uber, Amit was in the US for :17 years across McKinsey, TPG Capital, and as President of Rent.com.

Job Description - We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Lead for the Founder's Office. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Founder, leading a diverse and multidisciplinary team in driving strategic initiatives and projects across various departments. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and success, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the Founder's Office team
- The candidate will work closely with the Founder, gaining a front-row seat to the entire business and contributing to various initiatives and projects across different departments, including strategy, operations, finance, analytics, and more. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping the company's trajectory and driving strategic initiatives that contribute to the company's growth and success
Responsibilites
- Lead and manage the Founder's Office team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Collaborate very closely with the Founder to develop and execute strategic initiatives and projects that contribute to the company's growth and market expansion
- Ability to work across functional areas and geographies e.g. Market entry strategy for a country, Building a customer success team, Marketing strategy execution for a key region / channel
- Oversee the execution of various projects and initiatives across different departments, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and successful delivery of key business objectives
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving approaches to drive business success and operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of relevant experience working in a management/strategy/consulting domain or in a fast-paced startup environment
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong judgement and creativity
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics. An MBA is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering results
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team and foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment
- A visionary mindset, with the ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives that drive business growth and success
