IAVI is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to lead and manage all aspects of Human Resources for IAVI's India operations. The Manager will serve as a champion for IAVI staff in India, advising, coaching, and influencing IAVI's people to ensure success of IAVI's near and long-term agenda in the India region, and as it relates to larger global goals of the organization. The Manager will partner with leaders, as well as the global HR team to drive an effective workforce strategy, especially across areas such as diversity & inclusion, talent & performance management, organizational effectiveness, culture, change management, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of benefits plans such as health insurance (medical, dental and vision), ancillary insurance (life, ADD, LTD), retirement savings, and leave management. This includes all coordination of program activities, new/modified plans, and open enrollment.
• Liaise with Payroll and Finance colleagues to ensure compensation and other HR originated payments are managed in a timely manner.
• Aid staff on the administration of benefits; respond to the queries pertaining to policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance to all organizational and government mandated policies and procedures.
• Lead and / or support all recruitment activities in partnership with the Talent Acquisition function in the region.
• Represent HR on a variety of formal and informal committees, including but not limited to the Wellness Committee and IAVI Global Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
• Management of personnel data and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources.
• Design & Implement training initiatives in India in coordination with global HR when required to ensure alignment with global programs.
• Propose process improvement to streamline HR systems and processes.
• Assist India leadership by working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Perform any other tasks as may be required/asked for within the purview of HR management.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required; an advanced degree is desirable.
• Minimum 6 years of HR generalist experience is required; an international HR experience is desirable.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in managing/ administering all aspects of human resources.
• Track record of administering HR policies and managing various types of benefits plans.
• Track record of all aspects of talent acquisition, including drafting job descriptions, employment contracts and consultancy contracts.
• Track record of establishing and implementing a training strategy.
• Excellent customer-service skills and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability proactively solve issues and liaise with appropriate colleagues in India and globally.
• Strong technical skills; proven experience in MS Office; ability to learn other systems rapidly.
