Job Title - Senior Accountant
Experience - 8+ years.
Location - Pune (Work from Office)
Education - BCOM, MBA finance
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive financial reports to managerial staff and interpret the information, offering actionable recommendations.
- Advise on investment activities and formulate effective strategies for the overall financial well-being of the company.
- Conduct a detailed analysis of costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and compare the company's actual performance to business plans.
- Develop trends and future projections to guide the company's financial planning.
- Analyse opportunities for cost reduction through thorough reviews and evaluations.
- Oversee the operations of the finance department, setting goals and objectives, and designing a framework for their achievement.
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget, ensuring financial goals align with overall objectives.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans, and collaboratively agreeing on future paths.
- Gather and monitor financial data, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, forecast costs and revenues, manage tax payments, organize internal audits, and perform month-end and year-end close processes for accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
· Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting, Finance or relevant field. (CA will be preferred)
· 6+ years of experience working as an Accountant. Understanding of accounting software like Tally ERP, etc.
· Proficient in MS Excel.
