Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven financial leader with a proven track record of success in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership. As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial direction of the company and ensuring its long-term financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Collaborate with department heads to create accurate financial forecasts.

Cash Flow Management:

• Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for daily operations.
• Implement effective cash management policies to optimize working capital.

Internal Controls:

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and recommend improvements to mitigate financial risks.

Audit Coordination:

• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
• Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.

Tax Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Optimize the company's tax position and identify opportunities for tax savings.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and technical matters.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• CA Degree is a must have, certifications like CPA, CFA, and an MBA degree will be an added on plus.
• 7+ years of proven experience in financial management, with a focus on controllership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
