In this role you will reside within the Commercial Banking Controls and Continuity Services (CCS) group. You will oversee and support the businesses by providing the planning, management and execution of Control Management and Governance projects through a project plan and engagement with stakeholders. Additionally, this role will provide great exposure to Senior Leadership, insight into key objectives and priorities to sharpen your skills for analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
  • Develop effective presentations& program update material suitable for stakeholders& business partners and communicate overall program progress and recommendations/decisions
  • Manage Compliance and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) Program deliverables
  • Perform oversight of data integrity of information in CORE through data analytics and partnership with Control Managers throughout CB.
  • In partnership with stakeholders, evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks
  • Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
  • Perform ongoing analysis of program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies
  • Assist with development of Risk& Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance preferred; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation
  • Proficient with advanced analytics automation tools (Alteryx, Tableau)
  • Program management expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
