Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Plant Head to oversee the operations of our manufacturing facility in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. As the Plant Head, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant, including production, quality control, maintenance, and safety. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
- More than 18 years of experience in a plant head or similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing pharmaceutical manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, regulatory requirements, and quality systems
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office tools and manufacturing software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the overall operations of the manufacturing plant
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality standards
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
- Monitor and evaluate production performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation
