We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced accountant - R2R - Cash & Bank Reconciliations with a strong focus on balance sheet reconciliations and process improvement to join our finance team at Ideagen. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing our financial control environment by ensuring the accuracy of our balance sheets and continuously improving reconciliation processes.

 

• Manage and execute the daily NetSuite bank reconciliation processes across multiple bank accounts and currencies held by the Group.
• Reconcile the cash balance sheet account, investigating variances, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain standard templates and procedures for bank reconciliations.
• Perform thorough reviews and analysis of reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Identify areas for improvement within the bank reconciliation process and implement lean principles to increase efficiency and effectiveness and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies; and maintain the integrity of the cash ledger.

 

 

Essential

• Proficiency with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel etc.)
• Experience with cash allocations, postings and reconciliations.
• Experience on finance projects and systems improvements.
• Strong partnering and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work across finance and non-finance colleagues effectively.
• Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines consistently; and

Desirable

• Prior experience in a multinational company or similar sectors
• Experience of NetSuite
