Experience with Db2 on Linux and/or Windows
Installation and upgrade of Db2 software
o Db2 Advanced Enterprise Edition

Installation and support of tools/features related to Db2
o IBM Installation Manager
o Data Studio
o Data Management Console
o Db2 Federation
o SSL/TLS Encryption (keystore, certs, secure connections)
Experience with various technologies/tools
o Korn shell scripting
o Puppet coding
o ODBC and JDBC drivers
o VBScript and JavaScript Coding
o Powershell
o Perl
o HTML development
o Java
o Docker/Containers
Handles and resolves Db2 environment problems and issues
Develops understanding of Agile techniques, activities, and DevOps methods
Uses a working knowledge of DB2 LUW to complete assignments
Diagnoses and resolves incidents and problems within area of expertise
Assists with developing or modifying Db2 policies, guidelines, standards, procedures, and documentation as required
Provides solutions to business partners by acting as a point of contact on Db2 issues
Provides technical guidance, training and may delegate work to others
Drives, embraces, and enables an environment of change fostering innovation, championing collaboration, and ideas
Enables solution modernization activities through design and development-related work items and architectural engagement
Conducts research and integrates industry best practices into processes and potential solutions
(1.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue (2.) To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time (3.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (4.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
