Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Product Documentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive, accurate, and easy-to-understand documentation for our software products. This includes User Guides, Quick Start Guides, Release Notes, Knowledge Base Articles, and Online Help content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Creation and Maintenance: Create and regularly update various forms of documentation such as User Guides, Quick Start Guides, Release Notes, and Knowledge Base Articles.
- Content Management: Take full responsibility for managing the Content Management System (CMS) for all software-related documentation, ensuring that all information is current and easily accessible.
- Knowledge Base Platform Management: Work with platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, WordPress, Notion, and Confluence to maintain and update knowledge bases.
- Use of Diverse Tools: Leverage tools like Jira, Filmora, Madcap Flare, Catalyst, Walkme, and Chameleon for various documentation and project management tasks.
Tool Expertise:
The ideal candidate should have experience with one or more of the following tools:
- Arbor Text Epic Editor
- Adobe RoboHelp
- DITA XML
- Confluence
- JIRA
- Adobe Photoshop
- Snipping Tools (e.g., SnagIT)
- Markdown
- Git & GitHub
- Zendesk, Freshdesk (CMS)
- Walkme, Chameleon (Product Adoption Tools)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, or a related field.

- Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Prior experience in a SAAS or software or technology company.
- Familiarity with software development processes and the Agile methodology.
