About Risk and Quant Solutions (RQS) Risk and Quant is one of the fastest growing practices at Evalueserve. As an RQS team member, you will address some of the world’s largest financial needs with technology proven solutions. You would solve these banking challenges and improve decision making with award winning solutions. What you will be doing at Evalueserve Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to designing, developing, testing, and deploying monthly / weekly / quarterly releases of an application / product • Conduct detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing a solution • Work in a fast-paced agile development environment • Define architecture blueprints and take complete technical ownership of high-level design and tech stacks, from back-end systems to front-end aspects and non-functional attributes • Design, build, and deploy cutting-edge solutions at scale, impacting performance metrics of complex distributed systems • Own the technology roadmap and vision of the team Evalueserve (insert local office address) Read our Privacy policy - Evalueserve to learn how Evalueserve processes your personal information information. • Work with cross-functional teams to address all technical dependencies • Drive some of the company-wide tech initiatives striving towards continuous technical excellence of our platforms • Actively participate in technical innovations, external presentations, technical publications, etc. • Identify the right open-source tools to deliver product features by performing research, POC / pilot, and / or interacting with various open-source forums • Help program and project managers in designing, planning, and governing technology projects supporting analytics use cases • Responsible for the scoping, planning, budgeting, and forecasting of a release • Maintain a resource forecast that matches the aggregate demand profile • Maintain an aggregate view of projects, report progress, and provide input from a technology perspective • Develop and maintain effective relationships with teams across the organization and ensure the timely delivery of applications • Liaise with project / product managers and keep them updated on release progress against milestones, risks, issues, and finances • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships • Demonstrate strong functional expertise by providing content leadership on projects • Improve existing delivery processes and lead automation where applicable What are we looking for Banking/regulatory knowledge • 12 - 14 years of proven industry experience in building large-scale distributed systems • Experience in developing secured and high-performance risk / finance IT applications for banks or financial institution • Exposure to a wide variety of problem spaces, technologies, and multi-tier architectures • Rich experience in C#, .NET framework, Angular 4 / 8+, REST / API, and object-oriented design / development • Knowledge of Python and other open-source technologies will be an added advantage • Experience in working on data engineering and big data systems • Well-versed with data engineering open source and cloud-based technologies • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, primarily agile / scrum • Expertise in Jira, an agile project management tool • Demonstrable experience in delivering complex risk / finance IT applications and the ability to deliver quality work under pressure and tight deadlines • Excellent project management background and experience in managing multidisciplinary agile delivery projects, reducing spillages, and improving agile predictability and overall velocity • Hands-on experience with cloud and Hadoop applications (e.g., administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning) in the product engineering / development context Disclaimer: The following job description serves as an informative reference for the tasks you may be required to perform.
