Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef Co-Founder in Bengaluru. The Chef Co-Founder will be responsible for leading the culinary vision of the company, planning menus, creating recipes, sourcing ingredients, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring food quality. The Chef Co-Founder will work closely with the Co-Founder to establish objectives, create a business plan, manage budgets, and oversee management functions.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze food industry trends, understand customer preferences, analyze costs, and measure performance
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, customers, investors, and the public
- Sales and Marketing: Ability to create sales strategies and marketing campaigns, identify target markets, and build relationships with customers and vendors
- Research: Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and use findings to make informed decisions
- Sense of Taste and Smell: An acute sense of taste and smell to develop recipes and ensure that food quality meets the company's standards
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals, manage conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment
- Culinary Education: A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
- Experience: Experience managing a commercial kitchen, creating menus, and developing recipes in a high-volume restaurant environment. Entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
