Job description

Purpose of the role: Responsible for crafting persuasive responses to RFPs, especially from government agencies and large enterprises. Responsible for translating the company's strengths and expertise into compelling proposals that address the specific needs outlined in the RFP. This position requires deep industry knowledge, excellent writing skills, and collaboration with subject matter experts.

Roles & Responsibilities: Proposal Development:

Lead the end-to-end process of sourcing RFPs and developing compelling and compliant responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) from federal and state government agencies. Content Creation:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality content that showcases our company's capabilities, expertise, and competitive advantages. Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough research on government procurement regulations, industry trends, and specific agency requirements to tailor responses effectively. Proposal Coordination:

Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary information, ensuring that proposals are comprehensive, accurate, and submitted within specified deadlines. Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough reviews of RFP responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with proposal requirements. Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to gather information and insights critical for successful proposal development.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience as an RFP Writer for at least 4 years, and as RFP analyst for 2 years, preferably with a focus on federal and state contracts. In-depth knowledge of US federal and state government procurement processes. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong project management and organizational abilities to handle multiple proposals concurrently. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
