Job description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

The Opportunity: We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us on the playing field as a business development manager based in Gurgaon. As a BDM, you would be leading our business efforts in the region by building deep relationships with our potential and existing partners while also driving engagement efforts with user communities. The role will require local and outstation travel on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities: Sales:

Identification and outreach to new partners (venues and event organizers), including communicating our core value proposition to potential partners along with a demonstration of our software solutions. Post-Sales Activation:

Ensure effective post-onboarding adoption of the platform through continual engagement with the partners and suitable marketing activations at the partner venue. Account Management:

Continually meet with the management of the various sports complexes and maintain a strong relationship with them. You will be the primary point of contact for all the partners in the city and responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with them. Community Engagement:

Conduct regular sports activities to drive user acquisition and engagement. You will be responsible for hosting events on Playo and managing the successful execution of the activity and users’ experience. Marketing Initiatives:

You will be responsible for driving business growth in the region, working in conjunction with the marketing team to create local marketing campaigns, both digital & offline.

Qualifications: 2-4 years prior experience in field sales Willingness to travel across the city on a regular basis Strong communication, influence and presentation skills Effective organisational and time management skills Able to work independently as well as in a team A 2-wheeler is a must have as you will need to travel on the job
