Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in legal eDiscovery document review support with extensive hands on experience in collection, processing, hosting, analytics, scripting, production etc.
- Extensive knowledge and management of electronic discovery/document review platforms and processes.
- Some familiarity with courtroom/trial work preferred.
- Must be able to work flex or unconventional hours when trial or similar deadlines require it.
- Handled large complex matters in eDiscovery including litigations, arbitrations, third party subpoenas
- Relativity certification is preferred (RCA, Relativity Analytics Specialist, Relativity Project Management Specialist, Expert or Master)
- Working knowledge of other eDiscovery tools or analytics tools like Brainspace
- Experience of onsite data collection
- Understanding and working knowledge of SQL & Search Syntax, Relational Databases, Windows Scripting
- Must have extensive experience with Relativity, Nuix Indexing, Encase, FTK, Kali and other forensic tools, Notepad++/textpad, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ideal candidate has previous work experience in a law firm or legal department, and in personnel management managing diverse and inclusive teams.
- Hands-on technical, electronic discovery experience required
- Experience of onboarding new clients or transitioning clients from another eDiscovery provider
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with attorneys and paralegals throughout trial preparation and in providing litigation support in the courtroom for trials and hearings
- Consults with legal team on vendor offerings upon request
- Manages the tools and platforms for complex, large-scale electronic document reviews using Relativity and other state-of-the-art tools
- Responsible for taking ownership and managing eDisclosure projects including litigation and arbitration matters, data subject access requests, regulatory, and corporate investigations.
- Deliver technical and consultancy services to legal teams and clients through technology and training, working through the various stages of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) with the application of relevant court rules and practice directions.
- Be proactive in engaging with the legal teams and clients on scoping the project and recommending appropriate workflows.
- Must be very thorough in Relativity/ Brainspace analytics and CAL/ TAR concepts. If required, manage all the aspects of TAR project. Comfortable in running analytics and its concepts. Provide consultation to partners of law firm.
- Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of relevant technological development in the forensic technology and eDiscovery area.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee accuracy and consistency in document review, leveraging analytics to enhance review efficiency.
