Role Definition:
Logistics Analyst is responsible for working on Dealer Claims and Returns for multiple Cat parts facilities.
Responsibilities:
Works with Caterpillar Dealers to utilize existing web-based system / ERP for receiving information of Returns material.
Provides necessary assistance to dealers to work on problem resolution and process improvement.
Representing the service parts facilities as the Claims & Returns coordinator, responsible for contacting dealers on discrepancy and disposition issues.
Provide Claims support for various service parts facilities / Logistics Center located in US, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
Meet required levels of customer service / turnaround time, agreed upon with the parts facilities.
Analysing of various data, generating reports & metrics.
Troubleshoot EDI issues related to Returns with system & technical teams.
Actively participate in all technical or functional discussions to establish an effective RCCA to prevent the re-occurrence.
Identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies. Coordinating efforts with facility to ensure inventory counting’s are completed and discrepancies are resolved.
Support the IT team to ensure successful installation as well as post implementation support of the SPM system.
Apart from core responsibilities, be flexible to support Inventory control processes whenever required.
Degree Requirement:
Candidate must have 4-year college degree.
Work Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of related experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Warehousing functions.
Skill Requirement:
Knowledge on Claims, Returns, Inventory Adjustment and Location Audit to ensure Inventory Control for the facilities.
Knowledge of return authorizations, material receipts and dispositions.
End user knowledge and exposure in SAP, IBM Mainframe and/or any ERP.
Experience with statistical analysis using MS Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
Demonstrating basic Project Management skills.
Effective oral and written communications skills required to collaborate with a wide variety of teams to achieve project deliverables.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task various responsibilities.
Strong initiative and ability to learn quickly is desired.
Should have good team skills and positivity for working in a cooperative and diverse team environment.
