UX/UI Specialist with Graphic Design

Must Have - Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
- ▪ Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
- ▪ A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Role And Responsibility - Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours, and images.
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
- Study design briefs and determine requirements.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.
- Test graphics across various media.
- Amend designs after feedback.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
▪ Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
▪ Proven graphic designing experience.
▪ Portfolio of design projects
▪ Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc and InVision)
▪ Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
▪ Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
▪ Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
▪ A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
▪ A keen eye for aesthetics and details
▪ Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
▪ Ability to work methodically, good time-management skills and meet deadlines.
▪ BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field
