We are looking for suitable candidate for Senior Denim Designer position. Interested candidates please share their CV on [email protected] Title: Senior Denim Designer Qualification: Bachelor of Fashion Designing Location: Goregaon, Mumbai Maharashtra Reporting to: Business Manager Experience: 5+Experience in Denim Garment Industry: Denim manufacturing Responsibility: · Collection planning, design-trend direction, new product guidelines, fit guides and accessories direction and selection, wash library enrichment. · Stay up to date on trends within the denim space. · Develop time and action calendars for all programs managed. · Conceptualize and execute continuous product development (collections) for presentation to buyers and marketing team based on trend research. · Work cross collaboratively with product development and technical design to create right products for regular design presentations. · Source and select raw material - fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments continuously for final product adaptation in bulk production. · Review and implement new techniques. · Assist in recruiting and training of new design team members, assigning tasks & providing direction to junior designers, associates, and interns within the design department. · Maintain and monitor development status of all programs by season. · Prepare tech specs and liaison with production team. About the company : A ‘Design to Delivery’ jeans manufacturing factory based in Maharashtra, India. We have a fully in-house designing and sampling facility. Currently associated with and designing collections for various denim brands like Spykar Jeans, Jack & Jones, USPA, Lee Cooper, Flying Machine, Vero Moda, Only etc. We are looking for a designer who is: > Eager to learn, open minded and full of fresh ideas. > Constantly keeping an eye out for what’s new and trending in lifestyle and fashion world. > Able to bring positive energy to the workplace by being friendly and a team player. > Who communicates easily and open to cross functional teamwork. > Used to fast paced and collaborative work environment. > Handles projects efficiently and thrives well in a deadline driven work environment.Job tags
