Role And Responsibilities

As a Product Owner/Manager - BA - Solution Analyst, your primary duties and key responsibilities will include:

  • Breaking features into stories and clearly communicating requirements to engineers and designers through user stories, use case scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Leading requirements refinement and grooming sessions.
  • Managing and maintaining the product backlog by working with management, product owners, and the development team in sizing and prioritizing requirements for current and future releases.
  • Ensuring acceptance criteria are met with the current release and conducting sprint reviews from a business/customer perspective.
  • Performing detailed product demonstrations for external and internal audiences to communicate the benefits of the solution.
  • Working with stakeholders to prepare and share release notes, user guides, and related artifacts during the release.
  • Participating in the planning, development, coordination, and presentation of specific testing needs.
  • Communicating frequently with stakeholders throughout the SDLC to resolve open issues and manage change requests.
  • Collaborating closely with Sales, Services, and Support teams to meet their needs and understand dependencies.
  • Assisting the engineering team with troubleshooting product escalations from customers.
  • Regularly monitoring and controlling metrics to meet project/product goals.

Candidate Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience working with software development methods such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, unit testing, modules, agile development, etc.
  • Degree in business, tech, design, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in JIRA (Agile tool), Intellectual Property domain, and Salesforce.

  • Working with product managers/owners and internal agile teams to create, review, and refine epics, features, and user stories.
  • Being a proactive part of the scrum team to consistently achieve sprint goals.

  • Negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Staying current with evolving product practices and development methodologies.
