Intelligence Node is on the lookout for an accomplished Senior Software Automation Test Engineer to spearhead testing and verification efforts. Collaborate closely with technology and content operations teams to establish top-notch quality verification systems for our cutting-edge tools and platform. Your role is pivotal in driving quality improvements across the organization, contributing to a world-class experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive functional and performance test plans and cases for both internal and external software systems.
• Lead initiatives to enhance software engineering practices across engineering teams.
• Construct tools and frameworks for automated testing, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Play a crucial role in elevating our automation testing capabilities.

Industry Focus: Retail/E-commerce/IT-Software/Software Services

Candidate Profile:

• Proficient in automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, and related plugins and components.
• Knowledgeable in various programming languages: Java, JavaScript (with Node.js), Ruby, C#, PHP, Python, and Perl.
• Well-versed in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Experience utilizing Selenium Webdriver API and Apache POI API for efficient data manipulation.
• Testing Framework expertise, preferably TestNG or JUnit for Selenium, and Mocha, Chai, Sinon for Cypress.
• Strong manual testing skills with proficiency in IDEs, preferably Eclipse.
• Mastery of version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Familiarity with CI Tools (Jenkins) and Build Tools (ANT and Maven).
• Knowledge of Key Libraries such as Cypress File Upload, Axe, and Cucumber Preprocessor is advantageous.
• Framework expertise in Keyword-Driven, Data-Driven, and Hybrid approaches.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation tools effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Test Management Tools.
• Understanding of Agile frameworks and regression testing methodologies is beneficial.
• Accomplished in achieving testing goals through SDLC and STLC phases.
• Proficient in creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for GUI, functionality, and load/performance testing.
• Capable of writing high-quality test cases and scenarios.
• Skilled in reporting bugs and errors to development teams.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
• Knowledge of utilizing Postman/Insomnia API tools for functional and mock testing of interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with testing React/Ruby on Rails-based web applications is a plus.
• Mobile app testing experience.
• Proven success as a forward thinker and advocate for the customer.
