Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Install and configure Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019 servers
- Troubleshoot OS performance/hang related issues
- Troubleshoot File server related issues
- Troubleshoot MS Cluster related issues
- Analyze Memory Dump and drive the issues to closure
- Manage and support issues related to OS Patching, HW Firmware upgrades
- Manage Windows services such as Active directory, DHCP, DNS, Microsoft Cluster
- Manage centralized antivirus solution such as Symantec
- Able to provide support during Microsoft SQL, Oracle DB installation and troubleshooting
- Manage virtual machines through VMware vSphere console
- Optimizing physical and virtual systems and resource utilization, while continuing to provide system capacity analysis and planning
- Configure, optimize, monitor, operate and maintain systems throughout lifecycle
- Prepare System related issues RCA's post in depth analysis done and fix them for non occurrance
- Support System annual maintenace related activies (Offline/Online)
- Analyze repeated issues related to Server Hardware, OS performance and fix them
- Identify areas of improvement and apply the automation to avoid manual efforts
The Successful Applicant
Desired Skills & Experience :
- In depth understanding of Windows OS including MS Cluster
- General understanding of Network
- 10 to 12 years of experience in (OS Support, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS Cluster etc)
- Follow process such as ITSM (CI management, Change management, Incident management, etc)
- Mid-to-high level fluency in English
