Job Title: HR Coordinator Location: Coimbatore

Responsibilities Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance Assess candidates' technical skills and qualifications to ensure they meet the requirements of engineering and manufacturing roles. Redirect HR-related calls or distributing correspondence to the appropriate person in the team Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and job requirements. Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks. Assist in sourcing qualified candidates for various job positions. Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles. Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation. Stay informed about industry trends, recruitment strategies, and market conditions. Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities to the management team. Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of HR processes and best practices. Facilitate orientation sessions for new employees, providing them with essential information about company policies, procedures, and benefits. Collaborate closely with the HR Manager.

Requirements & Skills Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in HR or related administrative roles. Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes and technical skills required for related roles. Experience using recruitment tools and platforms to source and attract candidates. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical professionals. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or other HR software can streamline administrative tasks and data management processes.
