JOB DESCRIPTION Team Member – Supplier Quality Assurance ROLE DESCRIPTION The SQA has to improve & monitor the Process at supplier end to meet the Product requirements as per the design guidelines. EXPERIENCE Hands on Supplier Quality Assurance experience of 1+ Years out of min exp of 3+ years, must have established technical excellence and quality assurance of complete product life cycle from inception to mass production. QUALIFICATION Graduate/Post Graduate Electronics engineering ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out supplier process validation audits. Preparing DFM (Design for Manufacturing) with supplier. Preparing DFA (Design for Assembly) with engineering. Responsibly to complete the PPAP at supplier end. Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements. Manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier quality issues. Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues. Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities. Manage the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEA’s (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). Review documentation of inspection results across all areas. In appropriate functional areas, this refers to supporting inspection and test status requirements defined by regulations, engineering product specifications or Control Plans, PPAP approval or product warrant submission. Monitor and report on supplier product quality, performance and impacts. Manage the Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to developments. Manage customer PPM (Parts per Million), supplier PPM, supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators. Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain. Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality. Conduct bench marking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends. Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact. Undertake personal continuous training and development. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well being of humans. Quality Agreements. Negotiate & finalize agreements related to Quality – Quality Audit Agreement, SOR, CSR, AOI, QIP, etc. MIS. Create and provide crisp MIS on agreed frequencies – D/W/M/Q/Y. Documentation. Establish, create and maintain processes and documentation as per IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001. PREFERRED SKILLS Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA). Statistical Process Control (SPC). Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). DFM & DFA. Product/Process Level Experience : PCBA mfg. process, PCBA analysis, Electronics parts knowledge.
