Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Fashion Consultant for a retail store, you will represent the store's brand and promote its products and services to customers. Your role is to create a positive shopping experience, build customer loyalty, and drive sales by effectively communicating the store's value proposition and providing exceptional customer service. With at least 1 year of experience, you will leverage your expertise to engage customers, meet sales targets, and enhance the store's reputation.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Brand Representation: Embody the store's brand image, values and messaging in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and the public. Customer Engagement: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner, providing personalized assistance and guidance throughout their shopping experience. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the store's products, including features, benefits, pricing, and promotions, to effectively inform and persuade customers. Sales and Upselling: Assist customers in product selection, offer recommendations, and upsell additional items or accessories to maximize sales opportunities. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a professional and timely manner. Visual Merchandising: Maintain visual standards by ensuring products are properly displayed, organized, and stocked to create an appealing and accessible shopping environment. Store Promotions: Actively promote store promotions, events, and loyalty programs to customers, encouraging participation and driving sales. Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations or presentations to showcase features, usage, and benefits, enhancing customers' understanding and interest. Feedback and Insights: Gather customer feedback, preferences, and insights to provide valuable input for improving product offerings, customer experience, and marketing strategies. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with store colleagues and managers, sharing. Knowledge, supporting team goals, and maintaining a positive work environment.

REQUIRED TALENT COMPETENCIES & CHARACTERISTICS

Experience: Minimum of 1 year working as a Brand Ambassador, Sales Associate, or in a similar customer-facing role within a retail store. Brand and Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of the store's brand, product lines, and industry trends to effectively represent and promote the products to customers. Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, actively listen, and address customer needs. Sales and Upselling Abilities: Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with the ability to identify upselling opportunities and close sales effectively. Product Presentation: Ability to effectively present and demonstrate products to customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and value. Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal communication skills to convey information, instructions, and product details to customers. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic retail environment, including working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and handling peak shopping periods. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate product information, pricing, and promotions are communicated to customers. Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, support team goals, and contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment.
