What You Will Do
The Portfolio & Program Management Office within the Kenvue Operations Digital Transformation Office is looking for a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Manager based in India with proven track record in delivering value in Portfolio Management
Project and Program Management
Data and Digital Transformation
- The Senior Portfolio Manager - Digital Transformation will play a vital role in overseeing the portfolio Intake process and portfolio management activities for digital transformation initiatives across supply chain and operations. He/she will be a core team member of the Program & Portfolio Management Office responsible for the execution of our Kenvue Digital Strategy.
- He/she will be responsible for influencing and shaping a portfolio of multiple highly complex, global, strategic initiatives, and will oversee the portfolio from a PMO perspective including the following areas:
Portfolio Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute the digital transformation portfolio strategy in alignment with the organizations overall strategic goals
- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and success criteria for the portfolio
- Facilitate prioritization and selection of projects based on their strategic fit and expected benefits
- Ensure the portfolio remains aligned with evolving business objectives while meeting financial targets
Portfolio Intake & Governance
- Establish and manage the intake process for new project proposals, evaluating their alignment with the portfolio strategy and their financial feasibility
- Review and assess project proposals for financial viability, ROI, and alignment with stakeholders across the organization
- Facilitate project selection decisions with key stakeholders and governance committees, considering benefits and outcomes
Portfolio Financial Management
- Monitor and control the financial aspects of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure management
- Assess the financial performance of projects within the portfolio and implement corrective actions to ensure financial goals are met
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the portfolio
Benefit Management
- Define and track benefits realization plans for projects within the portfolio.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that benefits are identified, measured, and reported accurately - Implement benefit realization strategies to maximize the value delivered by the portfolio
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, project teams, and cross functional units
- Communicate the portfolio status, progress, and issues effectively to stakeholders
- Act as the main point of contact for portfolio-related inquiries and concerns with some stakeholders
Performance & Reporting
- Create regular portfolio performance reports and dashboards for executive leadership and governance committees
- Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Recommend adjustments to the portfolio as needed to maximize strategic value
- The individual will be asked to take on other activities across PMO according to the objectives, deliverable and the needs of the team.
What We Are Looking For
Required qualifications:
- A Bachelors' degree is required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or masters degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience, at least 8 years in data and digital, supply chain, or other relevant functional experience
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in portfolio management methods and tools
Experience with Microsoft Project (MSP) and Power BI dashboards, as well as other PMO analytics tools - Deep understanding of Agile methodology and ways of working
- Experience leading large, cross-functional projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions, process information quickly, and assess impacts
- Familiarity with digital landscape and digital transformation concepts such as product development, data science, intelligent automation, etc.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, superior influencing, and collaboration skills
- Highly proactive and motivated professional with an ability to think outside the box and a willingness to challenge the status quo
- Ability to lead a diverse and geographically dispersed team
- Strong industry knowledge and business acumen
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in digital supply chain is preferred
- People management experience is preferred
- Scrum certification (e.g., Scrum Master) is preferred
- Project Management certification (e.g., Project Management Professional) is preferred Whats In It For You
