Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher to join our team at Podar Education Network. As a Montessori Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. This is a full-time position based in Udupi, Karnataka, India. The salary range for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Qualifications and Skills
- A strong passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
- A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.
- Montessori certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of child development principles and Montessori teaching methodologies.
- Experience in creating age-appropriate lesson plans and educational materials.
- Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Patience, compassion, and empathy towards children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations for childcare facilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and safe environment for children to explore, learn, and play.
- Implement the Montessori curriculum and teaching methods effectively.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on the students' needs and interests.
- Facilitate independent and group activities to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Maintain open and constructive communication with parents to address any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Attend professional development workshops and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the classroom and materials.
