Job Description:
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will plan, establish, and manage technical projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. TPM will align projects with customer needs and requirements, construct detailed work plans, achieve milestones, and communicate the results across a stakeholder audience. They organize projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned technical projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
- Sets and tracks project milestones manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
- Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
- Collects, analyses, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
- Facilitates gathering and validation of project requirements.
- Develops and maintains project data that tracks overall progress and accomplishment of specific milestones.
- Ensures all parts of an assigned projects are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and deliverable dates.
- Regularly communicates with customers to arrange meetings, confirm project schedules, and discuss any project problems.
- Coordinates internal and external resources scheduled, ensures projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets.
- Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation. Negotiates plans and timeframes, ensures that clients understand the anticipated results.
- Analyses project progress and, when necessary, adapts timelines to achieve maximum benefit.
- Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project management documentation.
- Analyses risks and provides regular updates regarding projects status and any problems or potential problems. Takes proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.
- Collaborates with the Project and Delivery Teams to ensure the needs of the client have been met.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of overall development environment experience
- 5+ years of Hands-on leadership and end-to-end ownership of leading and delivering platforms and products by leveraging modern technology stack (Microservices, Cloud, DevOps)
- Experience leading onshore and offshore resources.
- Agile environment experience
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or related field is required.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
- Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge and experience using project management software.
- Ability to act as a team player.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive project kick-off activities: internal meetings, project plan documentation for top-tier, high profile customers.
- Provide oversight and management of work backlogs, the prioritization process and work scheduling and monitoring.
- Oversee assignments, report on risks, issues, and accomplishments.
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal team members.
- Works with the project stakeholders to develop schedules and establish milestones
- Ensures project progress against defined milestones and deadlines
- Actively communicates with key stakeholders to keep them informed on project activities
- Ensures adherence to all client data and security requirements
- Oversees the requirements/functional specification process
- Facilitate getting the work done practicing servant leadership and encourage discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
- Assist in team development through holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, and leveraging cross-functional team skills to improve product backlog throughput.
