We are looking for an
Director of Engineering , Engineering who can help us build a robust and scalable architecture for rewards and commerce platform powered by data-driven intelligence.
Responsibilities - Hire, train and nurture a talented team of technical leads and developers.
- Drive efficiency and ownership in the Development and DevOps team. Have a constant dialogue about their aspirations and share prompt, clear and actionable feedback about performance.
- Plan out and detail technical delivery roadmap along with the CPO/CEO.
- Put a design/architecture of a scalable and secure platform which can be easily customised and personalised.
- Define the technical stack and best practices for development and releases.
- Deliver engineering infrastructure and product launches of significant complexity that have significant customer impact.
- Provide engineering execution excellence, as well as technical vision and direction, to ensure the development team is aligned with the strategy of the company. Go deeper at an execution/programming/coding level to deliver high quality and highly scalable product and platform.
- Manage data pipelines and data lake for the product(s) and platform(s).
Requirements - B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science.10+ years of experience in building cutting edge products on cloud infrastructure.
- People management experience of 3+ years.
- Experience in building a web application usingMEAN or MERN stack. Good experience with Redis, Kafka, MySQL is required.
- Understanding of PWA and mobile application development.
- Proven ability in system design/architecture and building scalable systems and teams.
- Experience in aHyperlocal / Internet / E-Commerceenvironment is a must.
- Previous development experience as a full stack developer/lead is a must.
- Good understanding of microservices and micro frontend design and architecture is a must.
- Experience with DevOps tools ELK, Docker, Jenkins is required.
- Good understanding of different cloud hosting offerings - GCP/AWS is required.
- Understanding of Big Data stack will be a plus.
