Role Description This is a part-time Speech and Language Therapist role located in Mumbai, India and requires the candidate to be on-site. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will evaluate, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients with speech, hearing, or language problems. You will develop an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and adjust the plan as necessary. You will also provide counseling and support to autistic and hyperactive children and their families, and interact with other healthcare professionals as part of the treatment team. Qualifications Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders State licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and their families Ability to work independently as well as with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals Training and experience in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders Experience in working with pediatric, geriatric and adult populations in various healthcare settings, including schools, hospitals, clinics and private practice, is a plus Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, and knowledge of relevant legal and ethical guidelines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsJob tags
