DESCRIPTION

The Prime Video Training Specialist is responsible for delivery and coordination of training for New Hires, refreshers, continuous education, advanced skill and launch trainings for new services for GSS team members. The Training Specialist collaborates directly with an Instructional Designer to develop, maintain and update training content and coordinates directly with Business Owners, L&D Manager, and Quality Managers to ensure that all training content meets the learning objectives desired while delivering on-time results.

Key job responsibilities
• Facilitate Instructor-Led, On-The-Job and Blended Learning training classes for new hires, tenure population, new skills (cross-training), feature launches, and refreshers as necessary.
• The person hired for this role must be able to utilize the Learning Management Systems and Test Practice Environments.
• Learning Plan development and implementation for low-performance based on departments’ KPIs, including coaching/mentoring as needed.
• Training administration, including administering tests and certifications, managing a training calendar, reporting on work outcomes and impact, scheduling, and partnering with Site Leadership to deliver training and other learning intervention requests.
• Development and/or localization of training content. May include modification of existing content, as well as creation of unique local content when required.
• Maintaining expertise in role by staying current on tools, process, procedures, and training techniques. Continuously gain exposure to new training methodologies, processes, software, or training techniques.
• Overall, the Training Specialist will be responsible for driving high quality training provided to Amazon employees and contractors and play a significant role in the development of a successful, effective global support team.
• Travel required: Occasional travel may be required to other sites as well as other Amazon locations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ months of consecutive corporate training facilitation experience focused on Adult Learning Theory, including 1) virtual training facilitation and dealing with remote teams, and 2) delivering Soft Skills, Technology Skills and/or Technical or other Systems’ training;
• Proven skills in planning, implementing and assessing Training processes, as well as the ability to use multiple Learning Methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter;
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills (both in Spanish and English) for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers;
• Excellent Classroom Management and Blended Learning facilitation skills;
• Demonstrated knowledge of Adult Learning and Training Practices, especially in Technical Support contexts.
