Job description
Purpose:
Manage Quality requirements for the Open forging 810 Tons (Single Piece) and Die forging
Upto 18 with associated facilities for Materials CS Alloy SS Duplex materials for our
Forging Facility.
He should have a pleasing personality and conversant in English / Hindi . This role requires
maturity patience and high level of objectivity. He will be responsible for leading the
Quality team consisting a team of supervisors Forman and Forging Contractors along with
Customer Representatives / TPI Inspection etc.
Since this profile is versatile he is also expected to ensure implementation of prevailing
systems and procedures and strive to adopt good Practices with an eye for progressively
improving the Bottom line and Top Line as well.
He will be reporting to CEO as HOD Quality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
a. Plant Operations
b. Conversant with all the material grades and its equivalent.
c. Customer Quality QAP Documents review CHP coordination give calls to customers
in conjunction with planning.
d. Implementation of IMS ( ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 ISO 45001:2018) and guide
Management representative (MR)
e. NABL Accredited Mechanical Lab.
f. Aware of all the relevant NDT processes of applicable in process
g. Aware of Heat Treatment (HT) process and coordination with guide HT supervisor.
h. Support all intermediate processes from Raw Material induction to Final despatch in
conjunction with planning.
i. Responsible for both Oil and Gas and Engineering sectors
j. Project Planning for New Plant/Factory SetUp Industrial Management System and
Business Development.
k. Accountability of Shift output Quality Uptime of Machine Productivity and Performance.
l. Ensure best Forging Practices in the shop.
m. Troubleshooting in Forging Shop and Analyse and make CAPA.
n. To Ensure best results from supporting departments ( Maintenance Tool room Etc).
o. Preparation of forging drawings with optimised allowance for standards and special
components

Hydraulic presses Oil Chillers and Heat Exchangers
Essential / Preferable Requirements:
a. Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech / DME
b. Industry experience / Exposure : Preferably Small & Medium Forging industry
minimum of 8 Years for BE/B.Tech or 10 Years for DME
c. Excellent Communicator English / Hindi
d. NDT Level II or above
e. IMS Internal auditor
f. S.M.A.R.T in all his commitments
g. He should be well networked in the industry for new business opportunities.
Desirable:
a. Forging background
b. Experience of Working with Organization eg CHW L&T BHEL Bharat Forge etc as a
Head of Forge Shop
c. ISO 9001: 2015 ISO 14001:2015
