As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for our clients. Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the [specific industry/sector]
- Proficient in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, such as Ansys
- Strong knowledge and experience in mechanical calculations and 3D modeling
- Proficiency in using software applications like AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative and functional product designs, considering factors such as usability, maneuverability, and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate design performance and make necessary improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and manufacturing engineers, to ensure design feasibility and timely project completion
- Create detailed technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Perform mechanical calculations to validate design parameters and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for design optimization
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate innovative design techniques and materials
- Support the prototyping and testing of designs, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components for production
- Maintain accurate documentation of design iterations, changes, and specifications
