Are you an experienced
AutoCAD/Civil 3D Technician with a passion for civil engineering projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. We are seeking individuals with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in detailing engineering activities for civil projects, including grading, leveling using CIVIL 3D , and flood modeling using HEC-RAS . As an AutoCAD Civil 3D Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Project Engineers with drafting sewer drains, storm drains, stormwater devices, and earthworks plans. You will be responsible for developing flood models, cut and fill plans, and erosion/sediment control structures. This role is integral to the development and preparation of land for both residential and commercial projects. Primary Responsibilities: · Understand and complete drawings in accordance with project specifications. · Create preliminary and/or final sketches of proposed drawings using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment. · Modify drawings as directed by Project Engineers or Design Coordinators. · Collaborate closely with team members, architectural designers, and engineers to ensure coordinated design efforts. · Perform miscellaneous job-related duties involving drafting and simple technical calculations as necessary. Experience and Qualifications: · Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Civil Engineering. · Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD with demonstrated experience using Civil 3D for grading,leveling and HecRas for flood modeling. · Experience with drawing setup, scale usage, dimensioning, labeling, and plotting within a 2D & 3D environment. · Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or related qualifications. Technical Skills in Civil 3D Software: We expect candidates to have intermediate to senior-level proficiency in the following software skills: · Lot gradings · Creating surfaces and modeling surfaces as per design requirements · Earthworks cut and fill material estimates · Creating alignments and corridor assemblies · Working with corridors · Creating pipe networks · Generating plan and section views · Plan production by exporting from Civil 3D and using basic AutoCAD.
