Position Title:

Senior Software Engineer

Summary/Objective: Senior Software Engineer is a position that can manage advanced project work on both large-scale, high-profile projects and/or multiple smaller projects. Team member will manage day-to-day details of each assigned project and communicate progress to the assigned Project Manager. Essential Functions: ·

Cover all base software engineer duties ·

Have advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming ·

Understand and be able to speak to all aspects of the software development lifecycle (i.e. requirements, analysis, design implementation, testing and documentation) and associated execution models (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, etc.) ·

Prioritize work and execute on ideas to meet client needs ·

Show aptitude for owning responsibility of technical decisions and direction for one or many projects/teams ·

Demonstrate interest in improving the company’s technical awareness, depth and use of technology across the business ·

Participate in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies related to software development ·

Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed by company leadership.

Competencies: ·

Serve as an expert when using any development language or framework used for a project, including but not limited to C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, WPF, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analysis and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong business acumen with the ability to work and interact directly with clients independently and autonomously

Work Environment: ·

Sitting for long periods, standing and walking intermittently ·

Using office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer ·

Indoor office environment, temperature controlled ·

Occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds ·

Travel as needed for client projects, up to at least 25%

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in is required, commensurate experience will be considered 5+ years ’ experience in information technology, or professional services as a Project Manager or other leadership in consulting services delivery required
