Role Description We are looking for a talented and innovative Streetwear Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Streetwear Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing streetwear collections that resonate with our brand identity and target audience. Responsibilities Research and analyze streetwear trends, urban culture, and youth fashion to identify emerging styles, themes, and influences that can inspire new collection concepts. Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop design concepts, mood boards, and color palettes that reflect the brand's aesthetic and vision. Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings of garment designs, incorporating elements such as graphics, typography, and embellishments that align with streetwear aesthetics. Source and select fabrics, trims, and embellishments that complement design concepts, considering factors such as texture, durability, and affordability. Experiment with printing techniques, embroidery, appliqué, and other embellishment methods to add depth and dimension to garment designs. Translate design concepts into physical prototypes by working closely with patternmakers, sample makers, and manufacturers to ensure accurate execution of design specifications. Conduct fittings and revisions to refine garment fit, silhouette, and construction, ensuring that designs meet quality standards and market requirements. Stay informed about industry developments, emerging streetwear trends, and advancements in textile technology to continually innovate and push the boundaries of design. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and sales strategies to effectively launch and promote new collections. Participate in showroom presentations, fashion shows, and pop-up events to showcase collection designs, gather feedback, and build relationships with buyers, influencers, and media. Maintain organized design files, documentation, and records to facilitate communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners. Contribute to the development of brand identity, storytelling, and creative direction through design, branding, and marketing initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fashion design, apparel merchandising, or related field. Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or Assistant Designer with a focus on streetwear or urban fashion, preferably within the streetwear industry. Strong portfolio showcasing your creative vision, technical skills, and understanding of streetwear aesthetics. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and/or other CAD tools. Deep understanding of streetwear culture, youth fashion trends, and subcultures. Excellent sketching and illustration skills, with the ability to communicate design concepts visually. Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques, textiles, and production processes. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Passion for streetwear, creativity, and a keen eye for design aesthetics. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
