Technical Skills:
- Essential: - Proficiency in industry-standard design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, - Understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and design principles. - Ability to work with images and vector graphics. - 3D modeling and rendering skills. - Basic knowledge of web design and coding (HTML, CSS) may be advantageous. - Desirable: - Expertise in video editing, animation, or motion graphics. - Knowledge of UX/UI design principles. Soft Skills: - Essential: - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Creativity and problem-solving skills. - Time management and organizational skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Client-focused approach with good understanding of branding and marketing principles and understanding Visual Guidelines set by brands. Desirable : - Presentation and public speaking skills. - Research and analytical skills. - Cultural awareness and sensitivity. Experience: - Required: - A portfolio showcasing strong design skills and creativity. - Minimum of 2-3 year experience in an Advertising/Branding agency with a portfolio showcasing work created as a team and individually. - Desirable: - Experience working with specific industries or project types relevant to the role. - Proven track record of successful projects and client satisfaction. Additional Factors: - Personal branding and online presence: A strong online portfolio and engagement with the design community can be a valuable asset. - Passion for design and the ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends Education and Training: - Required: - A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is preferred. - Optional: - Postgraduate qualification in a specialized area like UX/UI design or branding. - Relevant online courses or workshops.Job tags
