Designation - Sr. Engineer – Electrical Testing (Nacelle & Hub)
Professional education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Strong analytical skills, Collaborative Team player, lean deployment mindset. Work Experience: 8 – 10 years of Electrical product testing, Wind Turbine testing will be preferred. Job Responsibilities: 1.Developing Wind turbine (Nacelle & Hub) testing methods & processes to conform the functionality of electrical component & systems, closely work with P & T team for revision of TCI/ Test protocols. 2. To adhere with all relevant safety guidance and legislation including the code of practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment and the Health & Safety at Work. 3. Knowledge in continuity, Insulation resistance & functional test of electrical harnesses & panels, sensors, motors etc . 4. Lead technicians in wind turbine test execution of testing and test equipment development. 5. Testing of WTG systems, electrical machines and operating supporting auxiliary test systems and test facility equipment. 6. Operation of test cells with variable frequency drives, Transformer, ACB etc. 7. Electronic circuit analysis, Wind turbine troubleshooting knowledge. 8. Responsible for all areas of electrical, control, testing phases during new product testing. 9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and issues found during testing. 10. Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. 11. Assures product quality by performing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilities. 12. Closely working with suppliers for Test jigs development, Testing spare procurement & management.Job tags
