Job Title: Hardware Lead Engineer
Location: Onsite in Pune
Salary: 2.2 lacs per month
Experience: 10+ years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Responsibilities:
Lead the hardware design and development process, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Manage and mentor a team of hardware engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Define hardware architecture, specifications, and requirements based on project objectives and customer needs.
Oversee the design, testing, and validation of electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and prototypes.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential technical challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of hardware systems.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware technology and industry trends, incorporating them into the design process when appropriate.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably in a leadership role.
Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, signal integrity, and power management.
Experience with FPGA and microcontroller-based systems.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as FCC, CE, and UL.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
