Job Title : Manager Spa

Function : Spa

Location : Lonavala

Primary Purpose

To organize and direct a team, that delivers efficient, attentive and personalized service at the spa and achieves the optimum level of guest satisfaction and departmental profitability in an atmosphere of high employee morale.

Major Skills And Accountabilities Of Position (4-6 Major Accountabilities)

  • Know how to calculate service and product margins to increase profitability - Have a working knowledge of cash flow; profit and loss; and break even.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Base promotional and staffing decisions on service revenue per minute and per hour.
  • Current knowledge of treatments, and ensure all treatments comply with current legislation and company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage overall operations of the spa.
  • Manage and carry out procedures, have current knowledge of treatments, and ensure all treatments comply with current legislation and company standards.
  • Ensure client experience is proficient including bookings, payments, and consultation cards.
  • Managing spa team members and beauty therapists to ensure high motivation, provision of high quality service and ongoing development.
  • Drive team to meet and exceed agreed revenue targets through a creative approach to delivering alternative programmes to core fitness-based schemes.
  • Meeting department annual budget and be accountable for maintaining and operating within financial targets as well as net movement.
  • Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure continuous service and programme improvement.
  • Instill brand values and standards to maintain quality on a daily basis and Liaise with other hotel departments.
  • Ensure customers and guests receive friendly and consistent personalized service from all team members.
  • Maintain awareness of department security related to cash, stock and equipment and ensure all department procedures are followed.

Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report)

  • Reports to Managing Director.
  • Interfaces strongly with department heads and spa employees.

Key figures - provide key data of the job e.g. budget, number of reports etc

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Job

Should be a Graduate or relevant diploma with experience of minimum 7-8 years in good hotel brands.
