ZEISS in India - Purpose of the Job: As Senior Manager in the office of the board member for SCM, IT, Procurement and digital transformation within the ZEISS business unit Vision Care, you will be responsible for a challenging range of duties requiring you to work with all levels of the organization incl. board members across a broad range of topics in Supply Chain, IT, Procurement and Digitalization. Specifically, you will be driving and coordinating strategic initiatives in the business unit Vision Care in close alignment with corporate initiatives and will be working closely with the board member on strategic and operational topics. Requirements: A degree with excellent grades from a leading university preferably in engineering, business, or (business) informatics, paired with a passion for SCM, IT, Procurement and digitalization At least 3 years of professional experience and proven track record in Supply Chain or IT and Digitalization with strong exposure to strategic topics – preferably in a leading management or IT consultancy Several years’ experience in running complex cross-functional processes or projects with a high number of stakeholders with proven success in lateral leadership. Strong moderation, presentation, and communication skills (both orally and written) Well-structured and self-organized way of working paired with strong process-discipline Strong analytical competence, strategic thinking, business acumen and hands-on, target-oriented mindset Self-motivated and able to work independently while also enjoying cross-functional teams Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environment Excellent Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills paired with strong analytical mindset Excellent follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities International experience and fluency in English and German (not mandatory, but good to have) Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Drive key initiatives in Supply Chain, IT, Procurement and Digitalization by compiling analyses, developing concepts, preparing strategic decisions and Management Board resolutions, and preparing and following up of key meetings Support the project portfolio and program management process for the whole Board of ZEISS Segment Consumer Markets Support the board member for SCM, IT and Digitalization in critical operational topics Support the strategy development process for Supply Chain, IT, Procurement and Digitalization Coordinate interdisciplinary teams from all parts of the organization Prepare strategy updates, speeches and company presentations.
