Job Description:
Coordinate with the team of java developers to accomplish complex financial calculations.
Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions for the application, according to business requirements in UNIX and windows environments.
Develop PL/SQL store procedures, packages, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and data loading (ETL).
Implement procedures to install and deploy large numbers of Linux / Unix servers.
Modify and develop new scripts in LINUX to provide the same functionality as that are provided in UNIX.
Work with the advanced features of PL/SQL like collections, nest table, ref cursors, materialize views and dynamic SQL.
Develop load processes and data warehouse integration ETL procedures.
Develop PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically base on user inputs.
Migrate legacy Java code for computing satellite pointing angles into PL/SQL to improve satellite installer efficiency.
Create text items, display items, LOV's, pop ups and other apex items.
Develop reports using SSRS 2008 R2 and used table control, matrix control for cross tab reports.
Create database tables, create various db queries and assist in data mapping/testing activities in support of project.
Detail and problem-solving orient in DataStage, jobs and addressing production issues such as performance tuning and enhancement.
Implement various DTS package to process data and create extracts and them FTP them using execute process in DTS.
Convert several DTS packages into SSIS packages to improve performance of the package and to make it more sophisticate.
